A favourite among London's gay weight-lifting cognescenti, this excellently situated gym features 5,000 square feet of free weights and machines, spinning studios, massage, sauna, tanning beds and a relatively sexy atmosphere possibly helped by the presence of muscle boys, fit lads, Latinos, older muscle bears and the occasional famous person. Day passes are available. Run by the Jubilee Hall Trust – a charitable sports trust which also operates outlets in Westminster, Southwark and Hampstead. Opened 1978.
