Mawaan Rizwan is one of the UK's most exciting comedians, combining physical clowning with absurdist gags, cultural commentary, and quite a lot of slut drops. He's hosted his own BBC documentary (How Gay Is Pakistan?), is a children's TV presenter, and won Youtube's 'Next Comic' award.

As one half of Frisky and Mannish Matthew has been featured on BBC Radio 1, 2, 3, and 4, won Best Comedy at the Adelaide Fringe, sold out the Udderbelly and Shepherd's Bush Empire, and headlined The Lyric Theatre. As an individual artist he has appeared at Glastonbury with Miss Behave, Soho Theatre with Nina Conti, Shoreditch Town Hall with John Kearns, The Glory with Jonny Woo. His first solo show, created with Dickie Beau, was hailed as 'top theatre pick' by the Guardian, and his directing credits include Stay Another Song at the Young Vic, Into the Woods at the Oxford Playhouse, Merman at the Jermyn, and the Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated The Reunion.
