Join Terry Sanderson at the Cinema Museum for a Christmas show like no other in London. The Greatest Variety Show Ever 2016 brings together some of the best entertainers ever in one fantastic bill.
The stars include some gay favourites of yesteryear and today, filmed at their peak, and presented for your delight at one of London’s most gay-friendly venues.
Starring in this year’s show are Shirley Bassey, Joan Rivers, Liza Minelli, The Pet Shop Boys, Bette Midler and Eartha Kitt. We’ve got fantastic comedy from Count Arthur Strong, Patricia Routledge, WC Fields and Pam Ayres. There is superb dancing, magic and circus acts as well as some of the best specialities from down the ages. All presented on the big screen.
It’s an evening of fun and nostalgia in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. And there are surprises galore.
Terry Sanderson, who has compiled the show and will be presenting it, says: “This is the fifth year of the Greatest Variety Show and it always draws an appreciative gay crowd. There’s a licensed bar to socialise as well as settees and armchairs to sit in to enjoy one of the most unusual and relaxed shows that the Christmas season has to offer. It’s a little gem that burns bright for one night only.”
