The way we network is changing, attendees are getting savvier and more demanding and event planners must meet these expectations. Instead of offering a “networking drinks receptions”, we, planners, should think more creatively about how to facilitate networking through experiences, so that when our attendees return from the conference they have not only gained valuable knowledge, but also business partners they can now call friends.
Networking is an integral part of every event, but often attendees are forced into networking situations where they find themselves scanning badges to find decision makers or someone “important”. Let’s take a step back from this traditional format and explore ways of networking through experiences and incentive travel.
Join us on 21st September from 8-10am for #EventPlannersTalk LIVE event about “The changing landscape of corporate networking”.
This time we’ll look into how to incorporate incentive activities into corporate events when planning events overseas, how to use the services of a Destination Management Company (DMC), we'll explore the latest trends in incentive travel, look at how to integrate social programme into conference, and more importantly how to think “outside the box”.
