Fetish Week Screening (Fetish Week London 2016)

#FWL2016 launches with the Fetish Week Screening, and this year we’re bringing you a double feature at the private screening room located in the basement of the incredible Soho Hotel, just off Dean Street. Join us there for drinks and socialising before and after these two movies: INTERIOR.LEATHER BAR. [dirs James Franco, Travis Mathews, USA 2013, 60 mins] + CHEMSEX [dirs William Fairman, Max Gogarty, UK 2015, 83 mins] James Franco's 'drama' INTERIOR.LEATHER BAR. includes recreations of scenes from William Friedkin's notorious 1980 thriller CRUISING that never made it on screen. Based on a true story, CRUISING starred Al Pacino as an undercover cop who penetrates New York's gay leather scene (based on famous West Village club the Mineshaft) in a search of a serial killer. The topical documentary CHEMSEX focuses on the rise of the drug-fuelled party-and-play lifestyle that has come to define certain quarters of gay London. Both films offer a frank look on subjects that relate to the modern gay fetish lifestyle. Feel free to gear up!
