Heading up the basement this time around is underground house producer and admired cult DJ - Nail.
Whilst the bulk of his time this side of the millennium was spent on Bent (his eight-year partnership with Simon Mills that headlined festivals and was a huge commercial success), it is to his earlier moniker that Nottingham’s Neil Tolliday has returned…
Following the inclusion of Till The Feeling’s Gone on Fabric 67 in 2013 and the release of Ode Rammel, Nail has gone on to launch his 89:GHOST label, which he says releases “music for people to dance to in sweaty, dark rooms”. If that doesn’t describe our laser basement, I don’t know what does…
Completing the lineup are TUSK’s own Ant C and Chris Camplin.
Taking charge in the bar this time around is Phonica founder, Simon Rigg.
Whilst working at Koobla in Soho, Vinyl Factory and FACT Mag asked Simon to help them open a new record store - and so Phonica was born. That was 2003 and 12 years later it has grown to be one of the most well known and respected names in vinyl, with a slew of big names clamouring to play in-store sets… plus more success with their packed to the rafters parties at Number 90 Bar in Hackney Wick.
We’re looking forward to Simon keeping you entertained in the bar…
Nu Age is becoming a TUSK regular and joins our own James Baillie to complete the bar lineup.
