Very happy to announce none other than the brilliant JoeFarr!! First came across Joe about 2 years ago when I heard 'Clock' I was instantly impressed by the how raw and undiluted the sound was... real technoo from the heart...!! And here he is doing us the honour of a 2 hour set at Butterfly Effect Parties... Very excited!
BIO: Bristol based JoeFarr has had 3 releases with Turbo since signing with them in 2011. Alongside that heʼs released on future cult classic DSNT and Hypercolour sub label Hype LTD. A collaboration with J.Tijn saw him appear on Power Vacuum that led on to a 5 track EP which is out on the 1st of July. Joe also has a release on Jerome Hill's label DON'T - "Gabba Problems" which is on the Square Meal EP (Don't 25) :) He takes cues from early techno/rave.
Juno says - “reminiscent of early '90s releases by Neil Landstrumm” and “sounds like Special Request after several hours puffing away on a jazz cigarette”

Jerome Hill
Delighted and very excited to announce not only one of the loveliest guys around but also one of the most talented and most true artists on the scene, definitely one of the originators of the underground London scene, his experience spanning no less than 25 years. I was lucky enough to be part of the original scene back in the days, as were many of you and the phenomenal, Jerome Hill needs absolutely no introduction to most people. I asked Jerome to play BE2 but he wasn't available... so finally, here he is!!!!!!!!!! :D Jerome is one my fave DJs ever second only to Jeff Mills but also my friend and I am honoured to have him do his thing at Butterfly Effect! ♥ Jerome's knowledge in electronic music is second to none and he knows exactly how to work the vinyl... creating an energy that is raw to the core and that will stay with you always! :) ♥
BIO - DJ, Scratcher and Dot Joiner. DJ since 1990, beginning with Hip Hop, Acid House, UK Bleep, Breakbeat and Techno, a residency throughout the mid to late 90's on infamous London sound system "JIBA", manager and music buyer for 2 record shops Trackheads & Dragon Discs in Camden, London, (1997-2004) during which time an international DJ schedule opened out, Jerome has been a permanent fixture on the London scene and lives and breathes the music, his sets being educational and hedonistic in equal measures..
Founder of Don't Recordings (which celebrates it's 15th birthday this year) & Fat Hop records (for fans of Old Skool Hip Hop/B-Boy Breaks) , and more recently two new labels; the booming acid house of "Super Rhythm Trax" and the 1992 rave themed "Hornsey Hardcore" His bi-monthly 'Don't' club night in Dalston is entering it's 3rd year and has built a strong following amongst true Techno lovers, with Jerome as its resident and amazing and well respected guests passing through every time.
Between putting out records on the labels and the release of his and Mark Archer's (Altern8/Nexus 21) double mix CD, 2014 saw a hectic DJ schedule, playing slots at Bestival, Glastonbury (alongside Aphex Twin), XOYO (London), House Of God (Birmingham) and up and down the UK plus Australia, Japan, Finland, Belgium, Germany, Prague, Poland, Spain, France and Ireland all featuring in the international calendar.
2015 looking good too, with releases about to drop on I Love Acid, Power Vacuum, Super Rhythm Trax, Don't and Mindcut and the calendar beginning to fill out.
You can also catch Jerome on London's Kool FM / www.Koollondon.com]], The Roots of Rave show every wednesday 11.00-13.00 GMT
Be it a Techno dancefloor, an Old Skool Rave or a Hip Hop jam, Jerome is at home and relishes bringing something new to the party with surprises around every corner.

Araz
last but certainly not least is someone who has also supported Butterfly Effect Parties from the start and has now become a good friend... Araz will have the pleasure of setting the tone on the night. He is just starting out on his Techno DJing journey having played out at Dojo in Bristol in November last year.... his enthusiasm is amazing, along with a good ear for what constitutes proper techno... Really happy to have him on board :)
BIO: After moving to London during his teenage years, Iranian-born Araz used his early acquired development and understanding of rhythms to start producing Hip-Hop, and has recently been pursuing an interest in the diversity and immanence of techno. His own style and music influences give his production and DJ set a hypnotic, dark sound, but also embodies his distinctly witty approach to providing a journey for his audience.
