Love the Lea Festival 2015

Love the Lea is a Thames21 campaign to save the rivers of the Lea Catchment. Love the Lea Festival 2015 Sunday 23rd August 11am - 7pm There will be live music from The Wave Pictures, Darren Hayman, The Bonfire Band, Harry Pane, Noah Kelly and Lauryn Grant. Interesting talks from the The London Sound Survey, Rob St.John in conversation with Luke Turner, Author Gareth E. Rees reading 'Marshland', Cath Patrick from Lea Valley Park and more. We've river themed games, and craft activities, plus stalls from a few of our friends.... The Love the Lea team will be on hand with pond dipping, water quality testing, an underwater camera, river games and information! Caribbean food, tea and cakes from the East End W.I and beers from Redemption Brewing. All the profits from the bar will go back into Ths work on the rivers of the Lea Valley.
