Songs of Praise is back and Xmas is just around the corner! Kicking off “silly season”, Songs brings you an early Xmas present with a special guest DJ set from east London’s own bad boy of pop, TONY MORTIMER (EAST 17).
ROOM ONE
As usual, resident Xmas fairies THE SUGALOW BOYS, DAVID OH and NEIL PRINCE will be in the main room spinning their special blend of classic pop, cool new tunes, banging floor-fillers and chart-busting tracks – these Ho Ho Ho’s will get your baubles jiggling.
ROOM TWO
Room two gets all hot and fuzzy for December, with DJs SILVERHOOK and CACTUSHEAD (HOT FUZZ) taking control of the decks. Yes, Vauxhall’s favourite electro-dance party for beardy boys, their friends and admirers, which boasts some of the hottest beats and hottest boys around and will be “popping-up” to give you an early Xmas present.
Naughty or nice these south London beary beauties will have you twinkling like the north-star - get ready to dance those tinsel tits off!
ROOM THREE
In our 90s Xmas Grotto (room three), local boy and EAST 17 master-mind, TONY MORTIMER will be playing his favourite 90s pop bangers for us. Watch the Steam rise…
Tony was the rapper and songwriter from East 17, the legendary 90s boy band who had 18 top 20 hits and made fluffy bombers THE look of 1994. He also wrote one of the best Xmas tracks of the 90s in the shape of 'Stay Another Day'.
With CHEAP ENTRY BEFORE 11.30PM, SONGS OF PRAISE: A VERY 90S XAMS (WITH TONY MORTIMER, EAST 17) is the place to be if you want to get down to high-end pop with a hot, cool crowd.
