Trannyshack is flipping its wig in excitement as the world-renowned drag performer and best-friend of RuPaul (RuPaul’s Drag Race), LADY BUNNY, is taking her sell-out success show ‘Clowns-Syndrome’ to The Trannyshack Ball this summer.
The show, which takes place on the 21st June at the Trannyshack Ball, includes Lady Bunny’s outrageous stand-up comedy and lip-syncing performance. Taking digs at A-list celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian and Madonna, as well as gay culture and the audience itself, no one is safe from Lady Bunny’s sharp claws and wit.
Lady Bunny, is known just as much for her oversized wigs and short skirts as her quick-witted, funny and shocking comedy. The New York Times’ referred to one of her as ‘Most of Bunny’s best lines are unprintable here, but more than any performer I saw this year ‘ the old pig in the wig’ as she calls herself, made me weep with laughed, often while groaning in disgust’.
She has appeared in several big productions including RuPaul’s Drag Race, Drag U and Sex and The City. Lady Bunny also fronted the legendary WIGSTOCK drag festival in New York, roasted Pamela Anderson for her birthday on VH1, as well as her own-produced YouTube smash-hits Like a Cheese-Stick and California Gurlz.
Tickets go on sale on 19th May. Early-bird tickets are £12. Advance tickets £15 and £18 on the door. A limited number of exclusive ‘meet and greet’ tickets will be available at £45.
