We are at it again in March with a rave worthy lineup for your dancing pleasure. Gracing the decks and presiding over the night will be Norm Talley and Varoslav. We will be going into the wee hours at Autumn Street Studios once again for this one. Residents Sigmund K and CHVCK will warm up the floor for what guarantees to be an all-out night.
Detroit has spawned some of the heroes of the scene, and it is our great pleasure to be hosting Norm Talley, one of our own heroes. As a product of Detroit during its formative years Norm was influenced heavily by mentors Juan Atkins and Eddie Fowlkes who were instrumental in pushing him to find his own sound. That pioneering sound is one most associated with the housier side of the motor city akin to Talley’s contemporaries Delano Smith and Mike “Agent X” Clark. The last time Norm was in London he was rocking Room 1 at Fabric, one of the many Mecca’s for dance music that he has played at over the years. This will be a more intimate affair with Norm, as he graces the decks at our new home Autumn Street Studios.
Varoslav is a Parisian favourite who has played his way through all of the best clubs in France and has already becoming one the bedrocks of the scene there. His passion for music led him to establish the label Rue de Plaisance, a boutique label supporting emerging artists and a platform for his own sounds. As a producer he has also released tracks on the labels Supplemental Facts, Tsuba, and Dirt Crew among others. That said, he shines the brightest behind the decks, having the ability to read the floor like a veteran and respond in kind with the crowd pushing and pulling them along the way.
