SELECTED SHORTS BY GIO BLACK PETER & LECHEDEVIRGEN TRIMEGISTO
We start our programme with a selection of shorts by New York based artist Gio Black Peter and Mexican artist Lechedevirgen Trimegisto.
Gio Black Peter is a performance artist as well as an ardent visual artist. He examines text and subject, truth and fakery, rebellion and authority. Since 2007, Gio Black Peter has performed and exhibited work worldwide, including: New York, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Bergen, London, Antwerp, Tokyo, and Paris. He has also appeared as an actor in James Bolton's film "Eban and Charley" (2001) and Bruce LaBruce's film "Otto; or, Up with Dead People" (2008).

Lechedevirgen Trimegisto is a Pornoalquimista & Gender Cryptozoologist. Posdisciplinary based artist and creator / director of “Gran Guiñol artistic group”. As an emerging artist his work has been shown together with artists like Naief Yehya, Fabian Giménez Gatto, Rocio Boliver “La Congelada de Uva”, Sayak Valencia, “La Fulminante”, Guillermo Gómez-Peña and “La Pocha Nostra”, Erika Lust, Bruce LaBruce, Annie Sprinkle, Diana J. Torres, Giuseppe Campuzano, Elizabeth Neira, etc. His work has been exhibited in forums like “No.Por.No: symposium on post-porn and visual culture” in Mexico, “Dildo Roza” International Post-porn Film Festival in Chile with “Aurora Borealis” which won the award for the category “Most Porno”, with the video “Pornucopia” also being nominated for the top prize, as well as “Muestra Marrana” in Spain, “First Posporn Festival” and “Feria de Arte Qüir” in Argentina, “Sexuantes Festival” in Peru, “Oslo queer festival” in Norway, among others. It is mentioned in the book “Pornoterrorismo” of Diana J. Torres and has positioned itself as one of post-porn's strongest pillars in Latin America and particularly in Mexico.

FEATURETTE: NIKOLAS KASINOS
Our featurette is a compilation by the artist behind sometimes I'm ARrt, Nikolas Kasinos.
Nikolas Kasinos is a Cypriot-born filmmaker and multidisciplinary performance artist. He has directed and collaborated on a number of film project shown at film festivals in the UK, Greece and Italy.
In 2010 he begun exploring the idea of identity and transformation through performances specifically designed for social video platforms. This work eventually led to the creation of the multimedia blog http://www.sometimesimarrt.com/
BRUCE LA BRUCE'S "LA ZOMBIE"
Our feature for the evening will be none other than the ever controversial Bruce La Bruce's 2012 undead romp LA Zombie. Bruce LaBruce is a Toronto based filmmaker, writer, director, photographer, and artist. He has directed and starred in three feature length movies, "No Skin Off My Ass" (1991), "Super 8 1/2" (1994), and "Hustler White" (1996). More recently he has directed two art/porn features, “Skin Flick” (2000)(hardcore version: “Skin Gang”) and “The Raspberry Reich” (2004)(hardcore version: “The Revolution Is My Boyfriend”), and the independent feature “Otto; or, Up with Dead People” (2008). After premiering at Sundance and Berlin, “The Raspberry Reich” took off on the international film festival circuit, playing at over 150. He was also honoured with retrospectives at the end of ’05 at the Madrid and Hong Kong Gay and Lesbian Film Festivals. His new film, L.A. Zombie, starring French star Francois Sagat, premiered in competition at the Locarno International Film Festival in August, 2010.
