Sweatbox

(21 Ratings)
Small but stylish gay gym

Yes, this is the same Sweatbox that is also a men's sauna and cruise joint, and operates as a kind of adjunct to the sauna — ideal for a gym-first/sauna-second experience, with plenty of darkroom possibilities. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Membership to the gym, which opens at 7am and closed at midnight, includes access to the 24-hour sauna facilities. Opened in 2008. From August 2018 Sweatbox closed for eight months for major refurbishment, reopened 8 April 2019.

Filthy, stinky, poorly maintained

Shocked by the filth, lack of maintenance and overall condition of the place. Such a pity that it doesn't come close to standard set in other European capital cities. The patrons were equally unfit.

Clean and lovely, but the intelligence

PLEASe tell next time to the UseR bEforehanD, that with the 24 houRs pass you may be 8 hours per time and then gO away, and to coME back after two hours! Nowhere is seen the rule, only the staff guy starts to give feedback to the customer, when he is leaving. Why is then there a sleeping room, where can not have sex? If a customer has sex for two hours, he has 5 hours time to sleap and then must go for two hours to the street.

Great place

This place is amazing. Full of young guys I'm only 24 so was good. Activity happening everywhere. It's very sweaty in the wet area hence the name but adds to the erotica. Will definitely go again when in London.

Rather good, could be better

I went to Sweatbox many times, particularly on Sunday, when I want to get laid without endless chats. In the first floor sauna, hot baths, showers, in the basement just cabins (cold), dark room. The place is ok, but considering the price should be better: for example more condoms and lubricant in the cabins. There are many people who simply go around, I guess not everybody have sex. Anyway I had many hook ups: mybedattitude.com

Twink Heaven

This place is Twink Heaven on Monday nights. Whatever you're looking for, it's there! I've had such a great time, often with young guys who are there for the first time. Hot & romantic. This place is not called Sweatbox for nothing. The cubicles do not seem to be ventilated at all, so it gets really hot and sweaty! I actually like that. The place is clean and patrolled regularly. You can come and go as you please for either 24 or 48 hours. It's good value, especially the 48-hour pass. The staff is courteous. My favourite place so far in London.
