The Roebuck (Closed Permanently)

No ratings yet
Tasteful, tasty and gay-owned
A handsome and traditional-style south London pub opened in August 2013 following a major refurbishment. Gay-owned but "welcoming", the local-feeling pub attracts a decidedly mixed clientele, no doubt lured by its attention to detail at the bar (real ales, craft beers etc) and fresh home-made food including Sunday roasts. No karaoke here, but Thursdays are quiz nights. Located near Oval tube station but only a five-minute walk from Vauxhall, where it has a food-and-drink partnership deal with Eagle London [see entry].
