Profile CLOSED AS OF JANUARY 2013 (Closed Permanently)

(4 Ratings)
Eat, drink and be gay
Slick but welcoming ground-floor restaurant-cum-bar that plays host to a mixed crowd of image/fashion-conscious gays, lesbians and their straight friends, boasting a health-aware food menu and non-stop music for a guaranteed buzz. Its basement separate-entrance clubby sibling Lo-Profile [see entry] caters to a male-specific clientele. The enterprise is linked to gaydar radio, which is played in the restaurant/bar until 5pm, when DJs take over. In January 2013 Q Soft Consulting (owners of Gaydar dating website) closed both both its Soho bars — Lo-Profile and Profile — and its 11-year-old Gaydar radio station, the latter of which was reinvented as Gaydio.
