The King's Arms

(66 Ratings)
Soho's premier den for bears

Casual, carpeted and cosy pub with an undeniable cruisy thing going on, the King's Arms is a magnet for older bears (and cubs) who might very well have been check shirt/denim/leather/moustache clones in the 1970s and 80s. Not a dull option. And popular too. Opened in 1981, with the conversion from clones to bears happening sometime in the 1990s. Jivin' Julie started the weekly karaoke night Bearoke in 1998 (Sundays). Plus Dragaoke on Thursdays, Tuesday Quizzes and more. Located seconds south of Oxford Street and a five-minute walk from Old Compton St.

Always visit when I'm in London

Great bartenders, friendly crowd, always make me feel welcome when on holiday from the madness of Chicago!

This seems really good

Very friendly staff and a lot of nice guts . Traditional , bit far away from boring and run down place . One of my favourite in London . One word ( well , two to be exact ) " be back" . Simply didn't want to go home :-) thank you .

The bear pub in town

If you are looking for a bearish type of man, here's the place. Great atmosphere, gentle staff. Sunday's Beareoke is the most unusual, but fun, night ever!
