Shirtless man-to-man clubbing on a big scale
A superstore-sized mixed club hosting gay nights, mornings and afternoons throbbing with dancing and stimulated men, Fire is sprawled across ten railway arches in Vauxhall, though not all in use at any given time. Exhausts its dance floor with Thursday-to-Sunday parties such as A:M, the latter of which takes place in the space called Protocol [see entry], accessible via the tunnel (aka South Lambath Place). Lightbox (with 15,000 separate LED lights) is a third space within Fire's mamouth realm, with separate entrance round the corner in the tunnel. It's a messy round-the-clock schedule; best to check the website. First opened in April 2003. Managed by Orange Nation, whose other Vauxhall power club Area closed permanently in August 2014. Located just seconds from Vauxhall tube.
