Central Station

(47 Ratings)
Popular local corner bar running the gamut from cabaret to strippers

Friendly Kings Cross venue on several floors, featuring a cabaret bar and a rooftop terrace, with karaoke, drag shows, pool (free daily) and more. Opened December 1991 by Duncan Irvine and Martin Mason, who transformed the gutted space. Only if you are looking for a bizarre experience

Central Station is famous for its kinky/dirty nights. You could find dresscode discount nights, golden shower nights, sneakers nights, s&m nights and also disco nights with backrooms. It all sounds pretty amazing if you are into any of the above. But, if your standards are average or you are looking for a young, good looking, fit or in shape crowd, this isn't the right place and you will be disappointed.

Something for everyone

Central Station is a bit of a hole in a wall, hard to find spot, by Kings Cross, but it's worth looking for. Central Station's main claim to fame, at least for me, is their club nights. Their revolving schedule of what felt like kinks to a repressed American was intriguing. But the men at these nights were never off putting. It was a lot of fun to visit and I look forward to coming back for a pint.
