Excellent cinema bordering both Soho and Chinatown
Part of the high-quality Curzon cinema chain, this non-corporate-feeling arthouse-style three-screen complex is simply a very good movie house, with a bar and two cafés featuring cakes from Konditor and Cook [see entry] and free wifi. Curzon Soho programmes indie, foreign and "thinking person's" Hollywood fare, with midnight movies and, throughout the year, specialist festivals. Not too far west of here, the classy Curzon Mayfair offers an exemplary cinema-going experience. Other Curzon movie houses can be found in Mayfair, Bloomsbury (2015 renovation) and Chelsea [see entries], plus Victoria (opened May 2014) and Aldgate (January 2017).
